This Saturday, St. George's will be holding the second part of our workshop "the Healing Presence" from 9:30-11:30am. In the last workshop, we asked the question, "what does it mean to be a spiritual presence to those who are in need?" whether they are sick or struggling with any number of issues in life. That workshop laid the theoretical (theological) groundwork for this free workshop, though this workshop will make plenty of sense if you are already familiar with pastoral care.
In this workshop we will be concentrating on the practical questions: visiting those who are sick or homebound, how to pray with others for spiritual and physical healing, and how we share the life of the church with those who are not able to come to worship (anointing and the sacraments).
No need to sign up, just come as you are. There will be light refreshments.
Leadership: Rev. Ryan Slifka
