Lent & Easter Services 2026

This year we’re hosting services as well as partnering again with fellow Comox Valley Churches to share in Lent and Easter services, representing some of the holiest times in the Christian year.

Lent begins with Ash Wednesday, and every Sunday from February 22-March 29 is a Sunday in Lent.

• Wednesday, February 18 - Ash Wednesday - Worship/Imposition of Ashes
  10:00am St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Courtenay
  12:15pm Weird Church Cumberland

• Sunday, March 29 - Palm Sunday - Worship 10:30am
  St. George’s United Church, Courtenay

• Thursday, April 2 - Maundy Thursday - time TBA
  St. Peter’s Anglican Church - Meal and worship in remembrance of Jesus’ Last Supper

• Friday, April 3 - Good Friday
  Worship 10:00am Comox Valley Presbyterian Church

• Saturday, April 4 - Great Vigil of Easter - Worship, Baptisms, and Holy Communion 6:30pm

• Sunday, April 5 - The Resurrection of the Lord - Easter Sunday
  Worship & the Lord’s Supper 10:30am St. George’s United Church, Courtenay
