We're Donating over $10 000 to Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelesness!

Our community partner for 2020 was Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelessness (www.dawntodawn.org). COVID meant we were unable to fund-raise as normal, so we encouraged members to make a special Christmas offering to St. George's as a way to help this organization provide transitional housing and services for the homeless in the Comox Valley. St. George's sweetened the pot by matching each dollar donated out of its Local Outreach fund up to $5000.

Needless to say, it was a success! We raised $5,283.15! Which means we'll be donating $10,283.15! We thank God for your incredible generosity, which will provide direct, immediate housing for homeless individuals to transition to permanent housing!
